US Dimes

The Dime has been a cornerstone of American commerce since 1796. Famous designs include the Draped Bust, Capped Bust, Seated Liberty, Barber, Mercury (Winged Liberty), and Roosevelt dimes. The transition from 90% silver to copper-nickel clad in 1965 marks a significant change in U.S. coinage policy. Mercury Dimes (1916-1945) are particularly popular with collectors for their beautiful design, while Roosevelt Dimes have been minted continuously since 1946.
